Exchange predecimal British coins
All UK coins can be redeemed regardless of age, however please note postage
can be expensive (especially from abroad) so it is probably only worthwhile
if you are in the UK, or if you have a large amount of coins (£30
in value or more)
We accept withdrawn decimal coins (those issued after 1971 but no longer
in circulation) for immediate payment, older coins (denominated in shillings,
sixpence coins and so on) will have to be sent back to the Royal Mint, this
is done twice a year in May and October. We buy withdrawn coins for 90%
face value.
